For those that attempt to access the "CraigPages" and its links using Dial-Up Service Providers such as AOL, Earthlink or any other dial-up by phone access may discover some delay in loading. I know your frustration and wish there were some way to avoid this.
We have started to place some of the heavier pages on a "TEXT-ONLY" Link. If you click on the TEXT ONLY VERSION tag, you will be redirected to view those pages with the text placed on a plain or color background with very fiew graphics. That should eliminate the difficulty. Those TEXT ONLY pages will in most cases include links to view the IMAGES individually and save you a lot of time and agrivation. Many hours have been spent by the author of these sites to provide data and information along with associated graphics. Some sites are also somewhat slow to load because they include imbedded sound files. Again, we regret the slow loading of these pages.
For those of you that use High Speed Internet connections (HSI), such as COX Communications, should have no difficulty loading any of our sites. If indeed you do find hazzards that would lock-up your computer using HSI we would be most appreciative if you would send us an E-mail informing us of which page your were viewing and what on the page caused the problem.
We work every day trying to clear the ". . . but with errors" while loading. Some errors are extremely difficult to find.
Our approach at first went from very small ideas about what would be at "CraigPages," to building a site for tomorrow. Everyone has seen the speed by which the use of computers and communications has grown in a very short span of time. We are confident that everyone will sooner rather than later all be connected using the High Speed Connections. This service is available and provided by nearly every Telephone Company and HSI providers. If you will check the cost and consider the freeing up of the telephone line it will only make sense to pay the $10.00 or so more to have this convenience. We believe you will be pleasantly surprised when you do.
Facing reality we have placed our data in several different paces and folders on-line. Also we have backed up pages on multiple servers with the realization that the data will outlast the authors. Knowing that causes us to feel comfortable that you, your family and ours will have access to these "CraigPages" for many years to come.

If for some reason in the future we should discontinue using the COX Cable Network for our main pages, you will be able to access all files using other entry places like, TribalPages.com, Family Tree Maker.com, MyFamily.com and other places or links. MyFamily.com will be more troublesome in that you need to be invited to the page in order to visit. Just contack any Craig for information. The Links should be available for Time as long as there is Time. We would encourage you to create a short cut and add some pages to your brouser (IE or Netscape) Favorites.
