Following a Bible Study on the WWW can be a difficult task at times. Some web pages, especially our Matthew Bible Study pages, are extremely large in content. The Note page seems to take for ever to load. I have found a way that you will be able to pre-load suggested links for use while you study – and do it with immediate response time.
If you plan to spend some time in study it is recommended that you open at least 4 Windows Internet Explorer pages. After you have done that (or while in the process of) open matthew.html.
All Matthew [allmatthew.html]and
The Matthew Reference Study with Index [Matthew_SRB.html Ch. 1 & 2]
Or:
Matthew Part 1 [matthew.html]. . . and so forth for matthew2.html; matthew3.html and so forth – wherever you might be in the process of study. It is my intent to link all of our studies, sermons and personal references in this way. E.g., Revelation, Matthew, Job, Etc.
Keep that page open.
Then open another couple pages or so for the notes:
i.e.,
Kingdom of Heaven [Kingdom_NT.html]. This is the largest of all the files. If you are limited by your computer as to how may windows can be open at the same time, load this one. This page will provide you with most references applied to the study.
Another page you may wish to open in the Note Page that references only the Scriptures in Matthew. It is:
Matthew References [Mat_Outline_3_note.html] .and:
The Kingdom According to Matthew [The_kingdom.html].With these 4 pages now open and active on your desktop, open the "File" menu at the top of one of the pages and click, "Work Offline."
In this way you will be able to log-off and study without tying up your telephone. If you wish to study on-line, do not click the "Work Offline" tool.
May God bless you as we study his word together.
If you have difficulty following the instructions above send me a Email describing your situation.
Regards,
Bob Craig
