The Book Of Job is the greatest single Book in the Old Testament that so clearly presents future New Testament truth in light of the fact that it is the oldest Book in the Bible and the fact that Job had not written Scripture whatsoever; he was not "bor-again;" nor did he know the joy of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.
The major source material has been the words of God. The author has studied through the entire 42 chapters of Job over ninety times in preparation for this study. Although most accepted translations were consulted, including the Hebrew and Greek words, the author found no reason to depart from the text of the Authorized Version of 1611 from which all quotes were taken.
In addition to the material researched as listed in the bibliography; lexicons, Bible dictionaries, encyclopedias, various thesauri; sermonic materials, both written and taped recorded; plus the author's extensive files developed through the years were all employed.
The author acknowledges the aid received through a vast host of Bible teachers through the years, plus class room lectures, Bible conferences and books.
All praise and honor goes, however, to our Lord and Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Editor's note:
Much care has been taken to present this worthy project with as much accuracy to the original manuscript as humanly possible. Some difficulty arose when, in the process or retirement and moving, the original was missing for a time. Today, March 21, 2005, I have finally found the manuscript as Reverend Walter G. Yeager sent to me. Most of the indexing was done without the original to reference so some links may not be presented as he may have intended. However, changes will be made to more closely align the study as he had originally meant it to be.
I have learned so much from editing this study and feel that every child of God should spend as much time as possible with it. It will most defiantly bring your relationship to Jesus Christ into full focus for the effort.
Wishing every reader God's richest blessings,
Robert B. Craig (b craig)
