1
2 And she being with child cried, ( b ) travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. |
|
3 And there ( j1 ) appeared another ( c ) wonder in heaven; and behold ( a ) a great red ( j2 ) dragon, having ( j3 ) seven heads ( j5 ) and ten horns, and seven ( e ) crowns upon his heads. ( j6 )
4 And his tail drew the third part of the ( f ) stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the ( j7 ) dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for ( g ) to devour her child as soon as it was born. ( 12cw ) |

5 And she brought forth a man child, ( h ) who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was ( i ) caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Satan Cast Out of Heaven
|
7 And there was ( l ) war in heaven: ( m ) Michael and his ( 1 ) angels ( a7 ) * ( o ) fought against the ( p ) dragon; and the ( p ) dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 ( 8r ) And the ( j8 ) great dragon was ( j9 ) cast out, ( q ) that old serpent, called the ( r ) Devil, and ( s ) Satan, which ( t ) deceiveth the whole ( u ) world ( a7 ) : he was cast out ( j10 ) into the earth, ( j11 ) and his ( 1 ) angels ( a8 ) were ( j12 ) cast out with him. ( 13cw ) * ( p&p4 ) 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come ( w ) salvation ( a9 ) , and ( x ) strength, and the ( 1 ) kingdom ( a10 ) of our God, and the ( y ) power of his Christ: for the accuser ( j13 ) of our ( j14 ) brethren is ( 2c ) cast down, which ( 3c ) accused them before our God ( 4c ) day and night. * ( p&p4 ) 11 And they ( 13c ) overcame him ( z ) by the ( aa ) blood of the ( l1 ) Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 ¶ Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. ( 13d ) Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil ( 26c ) is come down unto you, having great ( bb ) wrath, because ( 13e ) he knoweth that he hath ( cc ) but a ( 13f ) short time. * ( p&p6 ) |

13 And when the dragon saw that ( j14 ) he was cast unto the earth, he ( dd ) persecuted the woman which ( 13h ) brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given two ( ee ) wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the ( je ) wilderness, into her ( ff ) place, where ( j15 ) she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. 15 And the serpent ( gg ) cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood ( j5 ) . 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and ( hh ) swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. |
| 17 And the ( 13g ) dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the ( ii ) remnant of her seed, which keep the ( jj ) commandments of God, and have the testimony of ( kk ) Jesus Christ. |
