Job Text, Chapter 42.






Chapter 42. 
Job's Repentance and Restoration. 

Job cried out, "I abhor myself, and 
repent in dust and ashes," 
 -Job 42:6. 
 
God endorsed the ideas Job had expressed, 
rather than the ideas of the others, 
 -Job 42:7.

Job was not a wicked man, as they had 
contended, but a genuinely godly man, 
who when brought face to face with God, 
"abhorred" his own righteousness, and 
bowed low in the dust.
