Karen graduated from UNC in Political Science and has worked with the Republican Party in various assignments since graduating. She worked in the campaigns of Rep. Burr (Winston Salem), Senator Elizabeth Dole (Salisbury) and President Bush. She is now working in Senator Dole's office, handling all appearance planning and scheduling for the office. She also worked as a Staff Member in the House Budget Committee, and in the Policy office of HUD.

Nicole graduated from NCSU with BS in Electrical Engineering, coop'ed with Motorola Cellular Engineering in Junior and Senior years, and working with them after graduation in West Palm Beach.
