There has been a lot said about prayer in school, the Pledge to the Flag, and those Ten Command- ments. There are many of us for it. Look at your money — In God We Trust'Those of us that wish to should have the right to worship and pray if we so choose at work, home, or school.

There was a very moving Veterans' Day service held at Bath Elementary on Nov 10. They held a flag folding ceremony which states that the first fold is the symbol of life, the second fold symbolizes our belief in eternal life. The foiuth fold represents our weaker nature, for as Americam citizens Trusting

In God, it is to Him we turn to in times of peace and war. The sixth fold is where our hearts lie. It is with our hearts that we pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, Under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. The eighth fold is a tribute to the ones who entered into the valley of the shadow of death (the 23rd Psalm) that we might see the light of day and to honor Mother (one of the Ten Commandments) for whom it flies on Mother's Day. The tenth fold also honors Fathers, another com- mandment. The eleventh fold talks about people in the Bible, the twelfth fold in the eyes of a Christian citizen, represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in their eyes. God the Father, the Son, and Holy Ghost. When the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost, reminding us of our national motto "In God We Truat"

Ladies and gentlemen, we fly our flag with honor and pride but watching and listening Monday morning I can't help but wonder — why can't we pray aloud in school? Why can't we have the Ten Commandments posted somewhere? It seems to me that is what the flag represents. God and Country. I trust in God and say the pledge daily. It is a good feeling to know that God is with me every day and I Trust In Him!

I only ask, help put God back in schools. He is there in our hearts so you might as well make Him public.
