A good show is on for today! His “Borders, Language & Culture” proposition is in full sight today. Liberty will fall or remain on these three words (BLC)! Michael Savage (Savage is not his real name) talks about being a Conservative Independent, or Conservative or whatever. It is not clear what problem he has in describing himself as far as his ideology – unless, of course, he believes the vague descriptive identification of his belief system is inadequate. When he is hitting the mark I see him as a modern day Jeremiah the prophet.

Tonight I tuned in to Savage and he was in to savaging everyone. I have so much to be thankful for. One thing in this regards is the invention of the little thing that allows one to flip one off . . ., no, I mean click off the radio and click on the TV.
I just flipped from the TV during a commercial to the radio. Yep, he's still hating everyone except himself. I am also thankful that God created me with a mind to realize that I don't have to take myself so seriously! I have flipped to the radio occasionally to check on Savage – he is being his Thursday Idiot self. Rather watch commercials on TV.

Today another Michael Savage showed up! Instead of hating Bush, Cheney or anyone other that the enemies of the U.S.A., he is actually making some sense. He has a great guest (Captain Phil.) on his show and they are talking strategy that may well address our real enemies ... Iraq extremists! A great show! Thanks Dr. Savage.
Am I a crack-pot for listening to this guy?

Again, like an idiot, I have tuned in to the Michael Savage Show. A show it is. He is on his HATE Bush thing today.
Yes – the killing of those 4 Americans in Fallujah, Iraq was ferocious. That is why I posted the photos not shown to us by the Alphabet Channel News Networks. We need to see what we are fighting for.
However, this crack-pot, Savage, . . . I thank God someone like him is NOT the president of the United States of America. Some times he makes sense. Other times he comes out in his idiot clothing. I believe a habitual listener to his show will come off worse for having listened to him at all. I can't tell you why I bother . . .
Today his rant and rage is over our cool handed president that has the common sense to stand back from a situation and carefully plans out a response. America will NOT leave this go unanswered! We will respond! A fool would have rushed in and likely lost many more American lives. When President Bush's opponents think they have him in a hole, he sits back, thinks it over, makes his plans and then it happens.
Savage! Cool off . . . take a cold shower. You are too impatient with everything. You think everyone should flare up like you, a fireworks rocket only to die and return to earth and lay there wasted.
I would send Michael Savage an E-mail but he is afraid to give it out.

One has to wonder (March 25, 2004) if Michael Savage has 200 listeners, how many did he convince, of his "Listener-Ship" to vote for Carry for president. He did his best to defame George Bush but I think he is a Democrat (Big D) in sheep's clothing. George Bush may have chosen better targets for the blunt of his jokes but after all, our President has been under more stress than most presidents of my 66 years. I think he needs a break – and if YOU can't give him one just shut it up!

Michael Savage is back on the air. I have listened to his show for some months and have felt him to be a rather "knee-jerk" sort of individual. For Bush, against Bush, for this, against this and on and on.
Savage is the eternal braggart in that he believes himself to be the most educated individual of our time. It is difficult for me to understand his intelligence (or lack thereof) and realize that he has no idea of God's plan as revealed in His Son, Jesus Christ.
It was my intention to Email Savage and express my self and a retired minister would. However, when I went to his discussion site on the WWW, I found the following article. The author here does not describe his personal persuasion concerning the "One way to God," or salvation as offered by Christ on Calvary.
If Savage would only stop and think, or listen to someone other than his own clabber, for just a moment, then ask himself one question, "Why would God send His own Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to this sin sick world to die such a horrific death (as well shown in the movie, "Passion," if the alternative to believing in Him made no difference?" When one answers that question it becomes a decision of "Is Jesus the Christ?" and, "If I don't accept Him as my personal Savior, what is the consequences?"
So, what does this all mean?
Wisdom does not necessarily come from books and sheep skins.
Neither, does wisdom come from sitting in some jungle or in a mud hut.
Michael Savage is really "Independent" from modern thinking. He has been left behind. He needs our prayers. All men are precious in the eyes of the Savior. Jesus Christ died for all and ignorance will not save. I have placed Michael Savage on the top of my prayer list. I shall no longer listen to him because I am convinced at this moment in time he is what he claims, a source of "psychological nudity" and is dangerous to all who listen to him. He is not the originator of the "Compassionate Conservative." I preached that from pulpits while he was a child living in "dead man's pants."

Actually, I taped it. It was pretty interesting. Weiner wanted a pastor to offer his church to him this Sunday to make a short sermon on religion! I am not joking! No one called to offer him his church. So, Weiner claimed that he was going to give a sermon on the top of MT. Tamalpais in Marin County, CA! This is like a 3000 foot "mountain."
If Weiner goes through with it, I will be there to report on it here. It was bizarre. I may post his religion rant if I get around to it.
He claimed that this was the most important show of his radio career- learning that Falwell's "fundamentalism" was no less extreme than Moslem fundamentalism in that it rejected all other creeds except one's one path to God.
It seems incredible that Weiner would not have known that unless one is born-again, you go straight to hell fire and eternal damantion. He seemed shocked to "discover" this by happenstance interviewing Falwell. Weiner claimed that this revelation was unexpected and was not the point of the interview.
Weiner objected to Falwell's "you are either with us or against us" theology and politely told him that he could not abide that there are no other paths to God.
Personally, I think Weiner set-up Falwell. I refuse to believe that Weiner was so clueless of evangelical thought.
In any event, he admitted that he was not religious at all; nor were his parents; he is secular, that is, he does not practice any religion, but he claims that he believes in some sort of "universalist" God- sounded kind of new-agey, touchy feely, nonsense. This would be the subject of his "sermon." He referred to his book as the "bible." It sounded like we have another Rev. Jim Jones in our midst. Very bizarre.

PS: As I've been writing and posting this a so-called-self-proclaimed priest called the Savage Nation and made the usual effort to offer Savage absolution over the phone. Turns out that he is a Mormon. What a trip!
