            I sat most of the day on the "Front Porch" and, although he bores me sometimes (stuffed shirt) I listened to Shawn Hanidy (sp?). He had a group of teens (said they were interns in prep to go to college there in NYC) in his studio and I found what was said and implied quite fearful for the future of America, if not Christianity. Of about 12 or so they all in unison hated Bush (the President) and thought that the money we are spending in Iraq would be better be used by (re-distribution of wealth) shoring up the needy in the USA. That is an interesting desire . . . but none of them seemed to be classified as such. The idea of Personal Responsibility was brought up and with no discord all these teens felt that Hanidy was wrong on the issue. I really wish I had a transcript of all that was broadcast.

            Hanidy took some phone calls and one, a high school teacher, recommended that Hanidy ask them, "If you were a straight A student (they all said they were) would you agree to taking a 10 point cut on your grade and share that with another student that was failing?" They were outraged at the suggestion and commented that the question did not reflect or compare to what was being discussed. What a travesty. I have grandchildren and feel that they are being pumped full (mandatory by child teachers) teaching them with the new philosophy of the day. Hate America, hate Bush and crave socialism and a communal society.

President Ronald Wilson Reagan

            During the week of remembrance of our past President Reagan many thoughts rushed through my mind. Many wonderful feelings of honor, respect and admiration for the way in which President Reagan lived his life and led our nation through some very troubling times.

            Something occurred during the funeral that has been festering inside of me but I had decided to let it rest and really attempt to forget it. This evening for some reason (a note of fate) I happened to have channel 23 (MSNBC) (alias PMSNBC) and that political hack Chris Matthews was interviewing young (not dry behind the ears) Ronald Reagan (I am ashamed to think he was really Ronald Reagan's son). When young Ron gave a ullage and what he had said was noted by me and I just knew some political hack would pick up on it and make it a tool of presidential destruction in an attempt to dishonor our Country and President George W Bush. I kept that feeling inside my mind but knew it would eventually come out. Well, the statement young Ron was this (paraphrase) " . . . not wearing his religion on his sleeve." I had tried to convince somehow that he was directing this remark at Michael Reagan (The Chosen one), but I knew eventually it would be a slap at President Bush. Why don't some of these ignoramus idiots just "shut up and sing" as Laura Engram would say? I got so outraged at what was being said that I figured it all out . . . turned off the TV and tuned in to Christian Radio.


It seems that every evil idiot is crawling out from under rocks I hadn't realized was there.

I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here's one plan.

1. The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo, Noriega, Milosovich and the rest of those good ol' boys: We will never "interfere" again.

2. We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one sneaking through holes in the fence.

3. All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or where they are. France would welcome them.

4. All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorist nation would be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5. No "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" (for "deport") and it's back home baby.

6. The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing non-polluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while.

7. Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go some place else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8. If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides, most of what we give them is stolen or given to the Army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9. Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island some place. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10. All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The language we speak is ENGLISH..... learn it...or LEAVE...

11. We are ONE NATION UNDER GOD, deal with it. Our flag is red, white, and blue respect it.

Now, ain't that a winner of a plan. The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying "Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses." She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, "You want a piece of me?"

Bill & Hillary: Worse than you thought
& worth remembering.... ..And this came from a Democrat!

Dear Mr. Ex- President Clinton:

             I recently saw a bumper sticker that read, "Thank me - I voted for Clinton-Gore." So, I sat down and reflected on that, and I am sending my "Thank you" for what you have done, specifically:

1. Thank you for introducing us to Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Dolly Kyle Browning, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broderick. Did I leave anyone out?

2. Thank you for teaching my 8 year old about oral sex. I had really planned to wait until he was a little older to discuss it with him, but now he knows more about it than I did as a senior in college.

3. Thank you for showing us that sexual harassment in the work place (especially the White House) and on the job is OK, and all you have to know is what the meaning of "is" is. It really is great to know that certain sexual acts are not sex, and one person may have sex while one's partner does NOT have sex.

4. Thank you for reintroducing the concept of impeachment to a new generation and demonstrating that the ridiculous plot of the movie "Wag the Dog" could be plausible after all.

5. Thanks for making Jimmy Carter look competent, Gerald Ford look graceful, Richard Nixon look honest, Lyndon Johnson look truthful, and John Kennedy look moral.

6. Thank you for the 73 House and Senate witnesses who have pled the 5th Amendment and 17 witnesses who have fled the country to avoid testifying about Democratic campaign fund raising.

7. Thank you, for the 19 charges, 8 convictions, and 4 imprisonments from the Whitewater "mess" and the 55 criminal charges and 32 criminal convictions (so far) in the other "Clinton" scandals..

8. Thanks also for reducing our military by half, "gutting" much of our foreign policy, and flying all over the world on "vacations" carefully disguised as necessary trips.

9 Thank you, also, for "finding" millions of dollars (I really didn't need it in the first place, and I can't think of a more deserving group of recipients for my hard-earned tax dollars) for all of your globe-trotting.

I understand you, the family and your cronies have logged more time aboard Air Force One than any other administration (Including the one that succeeded yours.)

10. Now that you've left the White House, thanks for the 140 pardons of convicted felons and indicted felons-in-exile.. We will love to have them rejoin society. (Not to mention the scores you pardoned while Governor of Arkansas)

11. Thanks also for removing the White House silverware. I'm sure that Laura Bush didn't like the pattern anyway. Also, enjoy the housewarming gifts you've received from your "friends."

12. Thanks to you and your staff in the West Wing of the White House for vandalizing and destroying government property on the way out. I also appreciate removing all of that excess weight (China, silverware, linen, towels, ash trays, soap, pens, magnetic compass, flight manuals, etc.) from Air Force One. The weight savings means burning less fuel, thus less tax dollars spent on jet fuel. Thank you!

13. And finally, please ensure that Hillary enjoys the $8 million dollar advance for her "tell-all" book and you, Bill, the $10 million advance for your memoirs. Who says crime doesn't pay!

14. The last and most important point - thank you for forcing Israel to let Mohammed Atta go free. Terrorist pilot Mohammed Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners." However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands. The American President at the time � you, Bill Clinton, and your Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, " insisted" that all prisoners be released. Thus Mohammed Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center. It was reported by many of the American TV networks when the terrorists were first identified. It was later censored in the US from all news reports. Why shouldn't Americans know the real truth?

What a guy!! God bless America and THANK YOU (once again) for spending my taxes so wisely and frugally.

             Hillary Rodham Clinton, as a New York State Senator, now comes under the "Congressional Retirement and Staffing Plan," which means that even if she never gets reelected, she STILL receives her Congressional salary until she dies. (Would it not be nice if all Americans were pension eligible after only 4 years?)

            If Bill outlives her, he then inherits HER salary until HE dies. He is already getting his Presidential salary until he dies. If Hillary outlives Bill, she also gets HIS salary until she dies. Guess who pays for that? WE DO!

            It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY residency, they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale Chappaqua, New York. Makes sense. They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life. Still makes sense.

            Here is where it becomes interesting; their mortgage payments hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT an extra residence HAD to be built within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents.

            The Clinton's charge the Federal government $10,000 monthly rent for the use of that extra residence, which is just about equal to their mortgage payment. This means that we, the taxpayers, are paying the Clinton's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as well as the salaries for their twelve- person staff -- and, this is all perfectly legal!

            When she runs for President, will you vote for her?

Here's the kicker: there are no gods portrayed, except as statues. It's the new postmodern Homer, without the �inconvenience� of gods. They blew it out of fear of producing another �Clash of the Titans.� Even if you show just one goddess, and choose Thetis, which makes sense, you should show her as gorgeously immortal (i.e. eternally 30) as she grieves over her own predicament and her son�s impending doom. At least they let her deliver the news of his choice of fates; had that been missing, the whole thing would have been a disaster. Furthermore, delaying the plague upon the Greeks until after the death of Hector and in no relation to the sacrilege committed by Agamemnon against Apollo robs the audience of seeing how frightening the power of Apollo really can be and why Achilles is so damn angry at the �king of kings,� as they call him in the movie (has Agamemnon conquered Persia earlier?).             "With all the nay saying about our presence in Iraq, it's worth noting that none of these difficulties are particularly new. No postwar occupation has been without serious challenges, including the occupation of Germany after World War II. The New York Times ran a series of news stories in late 1945 reporting, in part, the following:

            "Headline: Germans Reveal Hate of Americans. Oct. 31, 1945. (Stories)

            The German attitude toward the American occupation forces has swung from apathy and surface friendliness to active dislike. According to a military government official, this is finding expression in the organization of numerous local anti-American organizations throughout the zone and in a rapid increase in the number of attacks on American soldiers. There were more such attacks in the first week of October than in the preceding five months of the occupation, this source declared. This official views the situation as so serious that he and others are protesting the withdrawal of 1,600 experienced military-government officers from the German governments on township, county and regional levels between Nov. 1 and Dec. 15."

            Sound familiar? You know, this is what I call -- I don't mean to be redundant -- but historical perspective. So many people think that we've never been through anything like this before. "Iraq is horrible and wrong." It's understandable when you look at the press coverage the Democrats are getting, talking about this "micromanaging" every little thing that goes wrong. How many news reports were there of World War II when one or two soldiers died? Zip. We didn't know until we went to the Movietone news on Saturday. We didn't really see any moving pictures, you know, we had newspapers in their daily accounts. Not being critical, I'm just saying it's different. The coverage is different, but the reality is not different. What happens in war happens in war, always has, always will.

            Another headline, November 18th, 1945, from the New York Times: Loss of Victory in Germany Through U.S. Policy Feared. November 18th. They thought we were going to lose. Our occupation was going so bad, that we were going to lose the war! (Stories)

            "Grave concern was expressed today by informed officials that the United States might soon lose the fruits of victory in Germany through the failure to prepare adequately for carrying out its long-term commitments under the Potsdam Declaration."

             Why, where have I heard this before? I think it goes something like this. [Doing John Kerry impression] "Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz and thooose neocons, theeey didn't plan effectively for the aftermath! Whhhy, this is an abject failure. Whhhy, we're losing this war." Or losing the peace, whatever the hell they say we're losing. "They didn't plan for the aftermath. They had no idea what was going to happen." And look at this, 1945. This is almost 60 years ago, and it's the exact same thing.

            An exhaustive compilation of opinions of Germans in all walks of life on their reaction to the United States occupation of their country was released this afternoon from the confidential status under which it was submitted to officials of the United States Forces in the European Theatre recently. Bitter resentment and deep disappointment was voiced over the Americans' first six months of occupation, though there was some praise for the improvements in transportation, health conditions, book publishing and entertainment."

            The New York Times then, the New York Times today. Sixty years ago. Virtually identical. And one more, December 19th, 1945. "German Election Set In Towns of U.S. Zone. (Stories) "United States Seventh Army headquarters announced today that plans had been completed for initial German elections in January at Gemuende. A statement said that a vast majority of Germans remained passive in attitude toward politics and displayed no disposition to take over civic responsibilities."

            Folks, just keep listening to this program. If you want to understand reality and truth and life and all these sorts of things. If you want to have an accurate portrayal of historical perspective, understand that what's happening in Iraq is quite normal, and, in fact, probably ahead of schedule, compared to Germany or Japan. Way ahead of schedule. It's good news. It's reason to be optimistic. They still got the same naysayers today as you had then, but what we have today is what we had then. We have committed leadership. What is so funny? [Talking to program observer] I'm not being funny right now, what are you laughing at in there?

            I'll bet you we can find a German prison scandal. I betcha there were some scandals. I'll betcha there were. You think this is the first time we've had prison scandals? I'll betcha some people do. They try my patience in there. Here I am in the middle of being brilliant and they have to go off into jocularity, but I got the point out, folks, I was not distracted. I finished my point to you before I asked them what they were so rudely laughing at in there. We'll be back in -- I don't mind that you're laughing. I mean I love laughter. But now you got me -- I'm going to find a German prison scandal. I know there had to be one. Be back here in just a second. Probably Reagan was involved in it.

Today, on "The Front Porch", it came to mind that the likelihood was high that the name I use as recommended for a new (replacement) name for the Republican Party would be The Freedom Party. Upon doing a search I find that my instincts were right and there is quite a lot of information concerning the use of the term "Freedom Party." (FP) I recently joined a group called the Christian-Underground. One might say that it matters not what the party is called as long as Freedom is its mainstay. Liberty is out of the question. There is the Libertarian Party (from what I have observed about them it is not what we are looking for) and that wretched outfit called ACLU (American Civil Liberty Union). That organization, more than any other outfit, has done more to restrict our Freedom than any other effort in the world.

What Oil Shortage

            This thought has entered my mind often in recent days: If we are having such a short supply of refined fuel, and was really of a mind to correct the situation, we could approach it by seriously going forth with a radical change in our Educational program and the way it is set up in America.

            If we were serious about changing the way our children are being taught. And if we were serious about lowering the price of fuel we would become activists involved in restoring "neighborhood schools." The gasolene that propel all of those school buses up and down all the roadways of our country would no longer be needed. The cost of the present day school buses would go a long way in paying for local, in-community, walk to school, school houses.

            On “The Front Porch” I observe each day of the school year at least 10 school busses (some with as little as two or three children) speeding up and down the road. Installed on the road are two speed-bumps approximately 200 yards apart. These 11 school busses, have to slow down to the posted speed of 15 mph and reach nearly 40 mph before they have to stomp on the brake to cross the next bump. The gas and diesel, the maintenance and the labor has to be out of sight – much less the cost of the busses themselves. They all seem to have these convenient automatic transmissions so all these, mostly young black women drivers, have to do is stomp on the gas and stomp on the brakes. The thought of these people driving such a massive vehicle and having to share the road with them boggles the imagination. It is beyond comprehension how much money and resources would be saved by simply reestablishing local neighborhood schools!

            Again, we must realize that our country has been taken over by the Socialists. It is these people that call themselves Democrats who have dictated such radical ideas as grouping all our children into tightly fitted massive school encampments and forced our children, not only to crawl on a buss to get to school, also, it is a convenient way to bunch them all together so as to feed them with propaganda preventing them from being taught the things older citizens learned in our school days.

            Today’s education system no longer teach three “R’s.” History has been re-written and most of our children couldn’t identify photos of our elected officials in government. As they approach voting age they have difficulty understanding the simple directions on how to fill out a ballot. Yet we spend millions and millions riding their worthless anatomies up and down the highways and byways of our country. Wouldn’t it be nice if the teacher lived in the same community and occasionally a parent could meet with that teacher in the grocery store and share passing small talk – rather than having to attend a PTA meeting! Wouldn’t it be really swell to have our heating and gasolene prices cut by at least 1/3. Stop and think just a moment of the wonderful possibilities that would be employed to supply buildings in the local area in which you live that could be turned into schools! If this were done we would have less trailer classrooms strung up and down and around school houses. The possibilities are innumerable.

            By far, enough! What a subject we’ve chosen to broach this Memorial Day! The discussion is an important one, though, as we ponder what it is that our children are being taught each day of the school year. They are being drugged by people we’ve never met. Is it any wonder that children grow up today with the alternative act of suicide as an option many consider and way too many achieve? Is it any wonder, after all is said and done, our children have lost the instinct of respect for others? And amazingly we are not alarmed at the number of these children that have grown up to accept a Bill Clinton for two terms for the presidency of these United States of America. And, as though that wasn’t a disaster, these young men and woman, now of voting age, are likely to replace a dedicated and godly man such as George W. Bush with a John Kerry. I am simply amazed that at least 50% of the voting public are leaning to vote for Kerry. How can this be? In a time of war, (much less, the greatest campaign of warfare America has ever been involved in) how can our nation be so divided? The answer lies in the state of our school system and the results from the slack educational system in the past 10-30 years.

            Having set down at my computer after a day on the �Porch� I turned on the TV and considering the date � tuned in, as I always have, to the History Channel. At 8:00 pm they began to show �Midway� (as they always do). Midway is an awesome reminder of what your nation has endured so that you and I have a country to live in with �Freedom.� Had we (USA) not fought, and WON the second World War, you and I, or our parents, would have been a bar of soap or a lamp shade (words from Michael Savage).

             It gives me pause when I ponder how things would have turned out in 1942-44 had our present political establishment and our news media been as opposed to everything as they are today.

            Back to the Porch: I have mused all day over this quote from yesterday�s post, �Fight the good fight. But, never with violence.� In my mind I drew an imagined time-line from creation up through our day. It is impossible to define anytime in history a time when there hasn�t been violence. Upon consideration, creation itself was a dramatic demonstration of violence � and that violence has continued on down through history and is ongoing today � that is, to those that opt to believe all we know, see and feel is as a result of evolution.

            The statement �Fight the good fight. But, never with violence� tells us all we need to know about how this individual thinks and how his/her mind works. A library of books couldn�t tell us more. Consider with me how violence has been an intrinsic part of history. (This is not to be considered as a comprehensive historical review). 1) A quick perusal of the Plentitude would force any honest historian, or even one such as I, to realize that Adam and Eve realized God�s violence (wrath) at disobeying the creator. Again, if one don�t recognize the creation, one wouldn�t agree that there ever was an Adam and Eve. Violence came between the first children (Cain & Abel, Genesis 4:1-2) 2) Skipping ahead: Had the children of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob not lived through violence the Israelites would have never left Egypt. 3) Skipping way ahead: Who, what, when and where would we be had the Crusades never occurred? We would have been dead or actively involved in the modern day Islamo Fascists movement to kill all Infidels. 4) Going back just a bit, Christ gave reason for all who follow him to be victims of violence. If we want to avoid violence we would stay as far �in the closet� as possible so as to steer clear of anyone who don�t like Christians. In fact, why be a Christian in the 1st place? It seems that Christianity is the major inducement of rage throughout the world. Our globe we call Earth is on fire because the Son of God saw fit to cause violence between good and evil, or, His sacrificial gift for us enables us salvation from the violence Satan would hold over each one of us. So, one may well be justified in saying that as long as there are Christians on Earth there will be violence. Indeed, as long as there are Forums such as �The Christian-Underground� there will be violence on earth � as the world Underground demonstrates. 5) America is at war in at least 3 fronts at this very moment. We are at war against the Islamo Fascists! We are at war with those of our own government that would eradicate God from ever facet of society. We are at war against the Socialists that would rob the rich to give to the poor � and keep 90% of everything they are able to steal for themselves. It is called �Income Re-distribution; the taking from the productive and giving to the unproductive. This one thing alone will violently destroy the United States more so than anything Acadia would or could do � and it is more dangerous and destructive. We are at war with those that teach our children the political correctness of the present day rage. We are in a cultural war. We are in a political season and reason has vacated itself from our presence in a violent way � ripping from our hearts and minds any sense of reality � as the Scripture implies, �. . . before we believe a lie.� Lies, no common sense, no thoughtfulness � it seems as though our world has gone mad!

            The violence of the Revolutionary War bought us Liberty. The Civil War bought us civility. The World Wars corrected untold injustices . . . The outlook of our present day multifaceted wars does not seem encouraging. We have yet to experience the outcome such as it would be if we do not settle things at home and afar.

            The �Christian-Underground� idea is a good one. However, Christians need to be unambiguous to make it work. This will be an impossible task unless there is a means of identifying which (�those who call themselves by my name�) are the true, remaining, and working children of God (Christians). If you are ask, �Who will God accept in Heaven� and you don�t immediately, with no reservation, and determinably state, �Those who have accepted Christ as their Savior,� you ain�t one!

            Opining upon these thoughts today on �The Front Porch,� I was jotting notes on an envelope. I have just noticed that it is from a United Methodist Church. I will post the letter as addressed to �Members of the Clergy of the NCC.� (Copy available at the link below) The subject of the letter is concerning the �Mt. Olive Pickle Company.� I can�t say at this moment what the huff is all about. I do recall last week (Commented on before) that The General Conference (All the BIG guys) of the United Methodist Church meeting in Pittsburgh, PA, had a big dispute about CONSERVATIVE group wanting to affirm the Book of Discipline�s strong stance against the appointment of homosexuals to the ministry/Clergy. The magazine, The North Carolina Christian Advocate almost joyously reported that the subject was denied. However, the same General Conference sees fit to pose a boycott of Mt. Olive Pickle Company�s products. That is about all I can take right now. I need a brake! Indeed, I am nauseated.

            Wow! You've said it all � in such few words. My difficulty is - when I get going I can't stop. Words come easy in that there is so many tings going in every direction � and all at the same time. Grab hold and hang on. Things in this �time' are going to happen fast, and when it does we need to be �working, ready and watching' for Christ's return. What a joyous day. I used to have a rather sorrowful feeling when I opined about Jesus coming to take his own � the fact that there would be so many left behind. Now, I just want it to happen � on earth as it is in heaven!

            It all starts at infancy � a child today is brought up spoiled and more or less, ruined! I would agree that this is an arguable statement. However, I never experienced in my childhood the things that children today are called upon to absorb � and they do exactly that. They become what they eat, what they see, what examples their parents are to them and what they are taught � all at an earlier time in live than one would have ever dreamed. It is said that they are smarter than we as children were at the same age. I doubt that. They are rather affected by different influences than we were. Today a child (near infant) returns home from �head-start' and with or without a baby sitter (no mom or dad) are left to forge ahead. That today usually means the TV or un-controlled computer �on-line!'

            I attended SEBTS (Baptist Seminary, Wake Forest, NC) in the late 1970's. At that time I had a very difficult time accepting the liberal biased opinions of all the professors teaching then. I understand that SEBTS is now under new management (Conservative) and now have teachers that accept, believe and understand that the Bible is the final Word on all God want's us to know. I wish it had been the case in the 70's. It may have kept me from leaving the SBC and becoming a United Methodist Minister*. The liberal slant, the multi-cultural modern day political correctness, the enemies we have in the Alphabet News Networks and Alcidae Marxism Islam have it in for Christians. The even hate and wish to destroy the Liberals. I have been adding things to a diary and have (in my own mind) renamed the political parties of our time. (D) stands for Socialists Party, and ("R") stands for The Freedom Party. I am not sure the Republicans can be fitted into a Party that stands for Freedom! As you reflect, I also worry about the direction things are going. Fear not. Whatever happens, those that have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior and "Remain" will endure to the end.

*Note: After my reference above to The United Methodist Church, my wife brought in the mail. The mail included the current copy of The Christian Advocate � a publication of the North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church. On the front cover was the headline, "CONSERVATIVES failed in this years conference to place a recommendation that the United Methodist Church adopt a statement affirming that the Church would not condone homosexuality � or ministers that have adapted that lifestyle and project it to the congregations they are APPOINTED to." (Paraphrased, emphasis mine) The United Methodist bent to being "all-inclusive" in every respect had everything to do with my "burn-out." I simply could no longer let stand their rejection of the Word of God (Scripture). All inclusive and multi-cultural leanings led the church more than 10 years ago to appoint woman, blacks and others of questionable leanings to any of their churches � regardless if or not the church wanted them. They impose their will on all congregations. In plain words, the individual church has no say on who their minister will be, or how much of the money individual church sends to feed the United Methodist Church (In my case that would be Raleigh, NC). So, in fact the individual church is not a congregational system, but an oligarchy with a Bishop in control.

As well, if a individual church body (the people) decides to object they can leave -- the building belongs to the whole (the Conference of The United Methodist Church). In other words, the UMC is a body commanded by dictators. Is it any wonder that the congregation therefore would have a life-long understanding of a dictatorship and therefore would be more agreeable to the same sort of government (socialism or communism).

            Another week of Socialist (I have made the choice to rename the Democrat Party "the Socialist Party") domination in the news. The American Freedom Party (R) is under attack from two enemies. The Communist Socialist are doing everything they can from within, and the Marxist Extremists Islam [Islamist Faschisim] attacks from without. Thankfully we have had relief from the Islam Acadia as far as hits within our borders. Daily, though, they pore through our borders from the South and the North. I heard a news report claiming that there are more than 18,000 terrorist trained and striving to make a successful attack on the United States with the hope of killing 2 - 4 million Americans. As I see it this evening � we are going to get hit and hit bad. At this point it doesn't seem to matter which of the above two do it. It will be severe when it does (and it will) happen.

That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual incomes into the Program, 3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year, 4.) That the money the participants put into the independent "Trust Fund" rather than into the General operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program, and, 5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income. Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month -- and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to "put away," you may be interested in the following Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent "Trust" fund and put it into the General fund so that Congress could spend it? A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the Democratically-controlled House and Senate. Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding? A: The Democratic Party. Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities? A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the "tie-breaking" deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the U.S. Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants? A: That's right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive SSI Social Security payments! Islamic history is full of decapitated heads -- Sunnis and Shiites have been lopping each other's heads off for centuries in retaliation for the decapitation of Hussein bin Ali, favorite grandson to Mohammed. Ali's head was ordered forfeit by the ruling Caliph. The decapitation took place in Karbala (which is why it is Shia's holiest site) and Ali's head sent to Damascus on a 'silver platter' -- together with a bag containing the heads of his 71-member entourage. Mohammed himself was big on lopping off the heads of his enemies. According to his official biographer, Ibn Ishaq, Mohammed ordered the massacre of the Quriyash. The women and children were sold into slavery. Mohammed took the men, reportedly nearly 900 of them, to the main market in Medina. Trenches were dug and the men were beheaded, and their decapitated corpses buried in the trenches while Muhammad watched in attendance. Andrew Bostom writes in Front Page Magazine, "The classical Muslim jurist al-Mawardi (a Shafi'ite jurist, d. 1058) from Baghdad was a seminal, prolific scholar who lived during the so-called Islamic "Golden Age" of the Abbasid-Baghdadian Caliphate. He wrote the following, based on widely accepted interpretations of the Qur'an and Sunna (i.e., the recorded words and deeds of Muhammad), regarding infidel prisoners of jihad campaigns: "As for the captives, the amir [ruler] has the choice of taking the most beneficial action of four possibilities: the first to put them to death by cutting their necks; the second, to enslave them and apply the laws of slavery regarding their sale and manumission; the third, to ransom them in exchange for goods or prisoners; and fourth, to show favor to them and pardon them. Assessment: There is a danger in attempting to interpret Bible prophecy in light of current events. That danger is that events now current soon won't be, and interpretations based on current events discredit Bible prophecy once those events have passed. A case in point would be World War Two. Lots of Bible expositors identified Adolf Hitler as the antichrist and Benito Mussolini as his false prophet. It was tantalizing; the European dictator's mad plan for a Thousand-Year Reich, his war against the Jews, together with his ally, the dictator of Rome, seemed to fit with the Bible's description, albeit loosely. German troops swore a blood oath to Hitler as a god, while German children were taught to pray to Hitler before meals and at bedtime. But, there was no state of Israel, no Israeli possession of the Temple Mount and Jerusalem, no Arab-Israeli conflict to mediate, and instead building a global government, Hitler plunged the world into war. On the other hand, the prophet Daniel was told his vision would be an unfolding revelation that would grow more clear as the final generation of human government was drawing to a close. Twice the prophet was told that his vision would be 'sealed until the time of the end.' "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to THE TIME OF THE END: many shall run to and fro, and KNOWLEDGE SHALL BE INCREASED." (Daniel 12:4) "And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words ARE CLOSED UP AND SEALED TILL THE TIME OF THE END." (Daniel 12:8-9) We've already examined one argument favoring Islam as playing a role in the global religion of the antichrist. The false prophet has "two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon." Islam's counterfeit 'Jesus' is revered as a prophet. Any who refuse to accept the antichrist's religion are killed. Revelation 20:4 says of them, "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were BEHEADED for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands. . ." Islam is the world's fastest growing religion -- and it's influence in Europe is such that the European Union has earned the nickname, 'Eurabia'. Daniel says the antichrist will come out of the revived Roman Empire, but he describes him as an apostate, who 'in his estate, honors the god of forces and a god his fathers knew not'. (Daniel 11:38) As I said, it is dangerous to discard traditional interpretation of Bible prophecy in light of current events. But nobody believes the war with Islam is a 'current' event, but rather, one that will be with us for a generation, according to the Bush administration. And Bible prophecy for the last days was given to one generation, somewhere in time, a generation unique from all generations that came before. Daniel was told, "Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the WISE SHALL UNDERSTAND." And Jesus told the Church that, "THIS generation shall not pass, till ALL these things be fulfilled." (Matthew 24:34)

            What a marvelous day! Sabbath day! I spent about 12 hours today sitting on the front porch and enjoying all that God has given. A front porch is something to behold. We have lost the front porch experience in America. I recall our home in Dixonville, PA and the front porch that spread across two sides of our home. It was always well used. It really didn't matter where the sun shown one was able to go to an area where it was cool and shady. This prompted many conversations and friendships over the years.

            Our porch in Newport News, VA, is no less enticing. I really enjoy it. However, things are different today. When people walk or drive by they look at one sitting on the porch in strange ways, like "Is that all that guy has to do?" Or, "Why does it always seem as though that guy is staring at me?" Or other fill in the blanks. It really doesn't matter to me. I enjoy my front porch. Other than Glenda and Chopper, I am unable to persuade neighbors to enjoy this time honored place with me. How many friendships could be forged! If only one would stop by for a chat.

            Our porch is unique in the neighborhood. One, because it is there. We actually have two porches, front and back. It is the front porch however that offers the most. It has a roof over it and today is one of those days that it came in quite handy. We had a late afternoon shower. It was kind of fun to watch those busy washing the car or doing yard work have to hustle inside during the rain! Just think, if they would only wonder over and have a chat they could have enjoyed the rain patters on the roof and we could have become friends. No one seems to want to share my porch. I often quiz myself and wonder if it is me. I am friendly with all the neighbors and my front porch is a friendly porch. There are little welcome signs of every sort. One is at the gate � Glenda found this mat shaped like a frog and it gives a happy welcome sign to anyone that would enter. We also are blessed to have many of God's greatest gifts of nature � flowers of every kind and color. That is a very pretty welcome to anyone that loves flowers. Hanging around the edge of the roof there are wind chimes, bird feeders and other assortments of ornaments that scream out, "Welcome!"

            Another blessing God has provided along with some of my personal intuition � I keep my computer signed on to Live 365, "Old Christian Radio." I ran a line from the axillary plug around the house and to my chair on the porch. That way I can put my ear plugs on and listen to some of the best Christian Music all day long. Everything from classical to blue ridge and gospel quartets. After this evening's meal and as dankness settled Chopper and I returned to the front porch and sat there for a time. It is a wonder to watch as dusk turns to night and everything changes.

            I wish you could stop by and enjoy a bit of time on the front porch.

            Addendum: During my last sitting on the porch after dark it came to me that I am my son's best man at his wedding and it is next week! What does the best man do? I'd rather just say the "repeats after me" and leave the affair. Not only does one usually get paid for doing so little � one also gets to leave the whole affair early, and no one gets mad!

Tell big media: 'Stop bashing America and our soldiers'

            Already, the major networks are raising their biased heads. Coverage of the brutal massacre of Nick Berg is being pushed aside in order for liberal networks to continue pounding anti-terrorism war efforts by incessant repetition of the Abu Ghraib prison-abuse story, despite the swift response by the military to begin investigations and court-martials immediately.

            Within 24 hours, ABC and NBC quickly diminished their reporting of the barbaric death of Nick Berg, just as they did with the atrocious crimes against other Americans.

            Gary Bauer, chairman of Campaign for Working Families, points out the media's pre-occupation with pushing anti-war rhetoric. "The press wants us to see every photo from the prison, but they try to hide the handiwork of our enemy."

            A study by Media Research Center (MRC) indicates networks like ABC, CBS, and NBC will completely bury the Berg story soon to refocus on efforts to oust Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. In fact, on Monday, NBC made a conscious effort to belittle Rumsfeld by airing a comparison of him to Adolf Hitler.

            The MRC study reports NBC's morning and evening news shows aired 58 prisoner-abuse stories since April 29. In all of 2003 and 2004, NBC aired only five stories on the mass graves discovered after the fall of Saddam Hussein, despite an estimated body count of as many as 300,000.

            Let the major networks know you want them to be as vigilant about covering the murder of Nick Berg and other Americans as they have in coverage of Iraqi prisoner abuse. Tell them the horrendous abuses against Americans deserve the same amount of media coverage too!

~ I'm sitting here thinking more and more about this Ted Kennedy bite that we just heard where he compares George W. Bush to Saddam Hussein, compares America to Saddam's Iraq -- that Saddam's torture chambers, that Saddam's prison is now open under American management. And I'm going to tell you the truth, folks.
Where's the Apology Senator Kennedy? The hero of Chappaquiddick's moral equivalence between us and Saddam, splashed all over TV... That's a part of the Republican attack machine, and I reject it. What we should have done is knocked down that prison when we occupied Iraq in the first place or changed it and altered it and changed it into a community school or a training education center. But the idea that the United States is holding more than 7,000 prisoners in there and we've seen these abuses, we deplore these abuses. Let's get to the root issue in question, and that is the kind of actions that were taken and those were responsible. It isn't only those seven, but it's also higher-ups. I'm sitting here thinking more and more about this Ted Kennedy bite that we just heard where he compares George W. Bush to Saddam Hussein, compares America to Saddam's Iraq -- that Saddam's torture chambers, that Saddam's prison is now open under American management. And I'm going to tell you the truth, folks. I think that it is about time that Senator Kennedy apologize to the American people and an apology should be forthcoming now. He owes it at this minute, to compare the people of this country, the president of the United States, who has hosted him at the White House, who has allowed him to participate in the writing of the education bill, who has done everything possible, George Bush has, to go out of the way to extend the hand of friendship to Ted Kennedy, for Ted Kennedy to compare George W. Bush and the people of this country to Saddam Hussein is a disgrace. And the media, and you at the BBC and you in Germany and you at NBC who are monitoring this, get this, if you get anything I say today. The media makes no issue of this comparison of George W. Bush to Saddam Hussein. You are more concerned with the Skull and Bones comment that I made, and was taken out of context, than the outrageous slandering of the American people by a United States senator, a senator that the left in this country thinks is the greatest, by the way.              Another one of those bad days. Not the news this time. A bad day for me personally. Jim, my good neighbor closest to me died two weeks ago. Today I strolled out side and my other neighbor was sitting outside. I have never been close to Jack. He is a rather quite person and we really have never had opportunity to converse much about anything. He has occasionally queried me concerning other neighbors but, not being a talkative person myself, I really didn't have much to offer about other people up and down the street. His wealth of information about everyone on the street made me aware that he was what one might call a �busy-body.'

             So, our neighborly relationship has never developed much over recent years. Today, however, after I was fed up with all the news about the beheading of an American in Iraq and the news media's sick addiction to the Americans that persecuted the poor Iraqi prisoners I walked over thinking I'd take a brake and make a friend. In our conversation the situation about the beheaded American came up and almost immediately Jack said something about not liking our Secretary Of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld. "He is too cockeye." was his first remark to me. I had no desire to talk politics � quite frankly I am sickened by it all and was looking for relief, not reliving it all.

             I couldn't help myself . . . I said to Jack, "If you were Saddam Hussain, Osama Benladen or the wretch that beheaded the American Businessman, Jack, who would you rather barter with as Secretary of Defense? Rumsfeld, Kerry, Kennedy or even Powell?" After he caught the meaning of my question he got that defensive look on his face and I knew I was speaking to a good Socialist / Communist (Democrat). I quickly brought the conversation to a close and went about my business. No new friend today! You know . . . it aint fun no more when all your close friends have passed away.

             That was it for today!

            I'm mad as HELL and I, for one, am SICK of it all! I've listened to all the ALPHABET CHANNELS and am sick and tired of the double-speak. We are in a two front war-- actually a three front war.

1) The American News media that feels it proper to show a bunch of nude Moslem Fascist, but faint away when it comes to show what THEY DO TO US!

2) The second front is the Socialist/Communist (Democrats) in our government.

3) Third, we are at war with the Islamist Fascist . . . make no mistake about it!

             Today is not a good day . . . We have the vermin in our nation's capital utter their squeamish statements about how badly our service men in harms way was so harsh to those murderers in Iraq . . . then, we see the video of how they treat Americans they capture. What happened to Mr. Berg may well be what happens to many more � including to those in America that are too squeamish to fight terror where it is found. We are in a WAR! We have a Ex-service man running for president who is a confessed killer in Viet Nam. How will he protect us here?

             I have never been more proud of a president as was the case today. President George W Bush stood before the enemy within (Michael Savage term and title of his most recent book), the american (small �a') news media and told America that he was sticking by our man, Secretary of Defense, Secretary Rumsfeld! I nearly jumped up and down by his announcement. This president, that has been ridiculed because of a speech impediment, firmly embraced one of the greatest Defense Secretaries this country has ever known. No matter the arrows and stones, President Bush is standing strong. This is likely the most important announcement we are going to hear this year. Thank you, President George W. Bush! We are praying for you. We pray for our country. The liberals have once again lost their unanimous push to destroy this presidency!

            Chris Matthews (SOFT BALL), you need to quite your day job and find work at a bar! Give it up. Get over it!

             Knowing today was going to be a red hot one (not the outside temperature) and that it would be fascinating to watch U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, I knew it would all be played out on the alphabet channels on the TV News this evening � we decided, Glenda and myself, to go out and eat then go to Wal*Mart and pick up some flowers and gardening supplies.

             It is simply sad what is happening in our country.

             While Glenda and I ate lunch several tables near ours began to fill with US Army troops. I watched them and how they looked and acted. It is beyond me. They were decent, clean, neatly dressed and well behaved. My heart began to swell with pride. I observed several of them were obviously of Mid East descent, several were black and a few young white all American boys � three of them could well have been offspring of Iraqi parents. I recall thinking to myself that they were likely attached to an Army Intelligence Service somewhere near by. As I continued to observe, trying to not be obvious, tears began to fill my eyes. Glenda ask what was wrong. I told her as I got up from my seat that I simply had to go over and tell them how proud we were of them and how much we appreciate all they are doing to serve America. I stopped by each table (at least 15 or more soldiers) and excused myself and told each, with tears in my eyes, how much my wife Glenda and I appreciated them and all they sacrifice to serve our country.

            Then, having finished with our meal we went about doing the bit of shopping and returned home. The first thing I saw and heard upon turning on the TV was the face of Mrs. Clinton, wearing smart glasses, questioning Rumsfeld. A question crossed my mind, "How many lives will be given so people such as the Clintons can live in a free society?"

            In the first part of Hillary's question she said that "You don't need these pictures to be revulsed. That just reading descriptions of these pictures is enough to revulse anybody."

            I wonder if Ms Rodham envisioned Billy Clinton with all those women he abused in the Oval Office in the White House? Why can't she just shut up and get out of our lives? She and Billy are a disgrace to our country and quite possibly it is precisely their example that led these 6 individuals in Iraq to do what they did!
            I'm going to tell you, folks. Mark the date, May 7th, 2004. She and others who say that are going to regret that they said it. I will say no more. I'm just telling you there's a good chance that if we learn all there is to know about this, that describing this as revulsing is going to be really offensive to some people.

            Damage Control!

            Today has been the unseemly self flagellation of America. All day long on the news � all we have heard are reports of how horrific we are. Friends . . . I don't know how you see the recent occurrences but it seems to this writer that we are on the edge of WW 3. I call it World War 3 in that it is going to be a religious war. Moslem against the Jews, Christians and the secular or Western World. The war will be caused by the Islamist Fascist because they hate what and who we are � not that some prisoners in Iraq were embarrassed and threatened by the Military Police!

            It is quite convincing to me that there is more here than meets our understanding of what is going on! It may well be that the atrocities we view on the news today were committed by very few number of our troops. It is also weird that the photos show a woman involved with a cigarette hanging on the edge of her lips � and a woman it would appear was in command of this group of prison guards. I am not sure what this (woman) means as yet. However, there may be other motives involved as well. Remember how presidential candidate, John Kerry, (see Kerry Purple Heart Doc Speaks Out) acted when he came home from Viet Nam . . . Kerry became a anti-war protester leader. It would seem that this (protest) would be what he is best suited for. Remember . . . Kerry served 4 whole months in Veit Nam! But back to activism � is it just possible that there are some of our people in Iraq who are angered about our involvement there, no less the idea that there are some personal that couldn't wait to get home to begin protesting. Is it just possible someone involved in all of this has been involved in creating this whole debacle to protest America's involvement � to belittle our President, George W. Bush? Could it be? Remember, candidate John Kerry (A member of the Socialist/Communist [Democrat] side of the isle) can only have a chance of winning this November if he/they can make the President look bad. Believe me . . . the Arab World will milk this for all it is worth. They will do everything they can to cause more hate and despicable acts upon the West!

            If you are not convinced yet think on this: How much worse, if all that happened in this interrogation of prisoners is true, is it worse than what Bill Clinton got away with in the White House with Lauinski? If a General in our Armed Forces were caught doing what was proved that Clinton did they would have been hung out to dry! Just a thought I had to get off my chest! It has been said that "any time one enters the Oval Office in the White House it is impossible to NOT wonder where it was in that room that Clinton DID IT to Monica."

            Today the Fed (A Greenspan) indicated that there would be no IMMEDIATE Rate Hike. What do you know! The (FICKLE) DOW jumped from the negative to a plus (now 29.80 pt). How fickle are these idiots. Does this mean that when there is a ½ point increase later they will fall again. I think they aught to drop advertising their stupidity.

            “Yes!” “Congeniality!”, & “High Fives!” happened in the Socialist - Communist [Democratic Party] side of the isle in the House and Senate as we heard the news that 10 of our young men were killed in Iraq today. Every soldier we loose enables our famed Communist Representatives to gain credibility before the fickle* United States voters. They actually see any success we make in Iraq as debilitating to their fight to regain power politically.

            I have never felt so ashamed for our country. Gone are the days when chills worked its way up the middle of my back and neck at the awesome sound of our National Anthem or the rasing of the American flag. I am sorry! Our country no longer stands for the things that made it great! Yesterday a Congressman led the Pledge of Allegiance and when it came to the point of saying “under God” he ceremoniously stopped while those of the Liberty - Freedom Party [Republicans] said these words and then, not saying them himself, he finished his act. My friends – when this happened I lost respect for nearly everything about government I once honored.

            It is painful for me, but, today I did not unfold and hoist the Stars And Stripes on the front porch. Only two homes in the midst of more than one hundred even display the flag. It represents what more than five hundred and fifty men and women have died for in Iraq. However those representatives in government which stand for and with those such as Senator Kennedy makes me loose the desire to raise the flag of our country. It is with much care I have furled it each morning and lower it at evening. I have with much care folded and stored it through in-climate weather. I respect what it stands for but am beginning to feel that those that represent us in Congress no longer represent me. When a drunk can stand up in the hallowed halls of our capital and speak with such disrespect about our Commander In Chief – demeaning the Office of The Presidency – - impune the leader of the fighting men and women who are laying the ultimate sacrifice down on the line – how can I proudly display the flag? How can I do it? Does it mean anything any more? If we were what we are supposed to be – how can I in good conscious not demand more from those who hold elective office? I am ashamed! I am outraged!

            Again, “Where is all this leading America?” We exist on borrowed time. This is not a religious statement and not meant to be philosophical. It only puts into words the contempt I feel . . .
